In 2018 we bought the old Uniting Church on Riversdale Rd and began making plans to rejuvenate the property in 2 phases. Project A was completed in 2020, with the worship space and chapel being renovated. Currently, we’re planning Project B - to demolish the old hall, kindergarten and kitchens and build a new three level building which provides for the congregation, and its staff and ministries, along with the Cantonese and Mandarin communities and other partners from the Victorian District Church and Lutheran Education (LCAVD/LEVNT).
It is difficult to accurately forecast the completion date of this Project, as this will depend on several factors beyond our control. We will update this page as further information becomes available.
