On the night that Jesus was betrayed he loved his disciples in an amazing and selfless way, even though his betrayal, suffering and death was imminent. We join those disciples tonight in both our denials and betrayals of Christ but most particularly In the actions of love of Jesus which save us from eternal death and equip us to be disciples who love as Jesus has first loved us.
By his love and Spirit he equips us today to bring that same grace filled, selfless, endless love of Christ to the people in our lives and to our world. [Maundy Thursday]
