Today Jesus meets and heals 10 people with a terrible skin disease which made them outcasts in their community and outcasts from worshipping God. Jesus sends them to the priest and as they go, they are healed. Just one of them, who is a Samaritan and therefore an outsider, returns to thank and worship Jesus for his healing. As Christians we are all healed too by Jesus on the cross where he exchanges the disease of sin and death for the new life of forgiveness and eternal life with him. do we stop and give thanks to Jesus?
