In our Gospel reading today, a woman from the wrong side of the tracks cries out to Jesus to save her daughter. She knows the heart of God in Jesus. She won’t give up. She’ll even walk on her knees to be met by the heart of God. That’s the walk we all need to learn. To walk by faith on our knees, and to be met in grace, mercy, and life by the heart of God in Jesus Christ. [Pentecost 12]
