As we farewell Associate Pastor Phil Haar, today we hear the story of Jesus’ transfiguration, where he clearly is seen as God by a few disciples. But even more importantly, today we hear God the Father speak to the disciples and say, “This is my Son. Listen to him.” Hearing and speaking the Word of God, which points us always to Christ and his sacrifice for all people on the cross, is the key. So, let’s listen to him. [Transfiguration]
