Child, Youth and Family
Children, youth and families are a precious part of our church family. They are always welcome in every worship service at St Paul's.
Groups and activites for Children and Families include FISH (Families Integrating Sundays and Home) and mainly music.
For Youth and Families, groups and activities include SPY (St Paul's Youth) and Safe House. We believe our youth ministry is not just on Sundays and Friday nights when we gather in the church building, but also during the week in homes. Families are equipped with resources and ideas to do this through the SPY Website. You can also ask to join our private Facebook group for updates and information.

Every Sunday morning 9.45 -10.30am during term time
For everyone, especially families with preschool and primary school aged children.
FISH stands for Families Integrating Sundays and Home, which reflects St Paul’s value to support our households in faith development and mission by modelling faith practices and equipping families with tools for faith growth at home. Activities during this time may include Bible stories, craft activities, games, music, movement and play.
Celebrating life in faith together
Milestones Ministry is a way for the community of St Paul's to celebrate with you the promises made in baptism. It also provides an opportunity to be honoured, supported and blessed as a family as we grow in faith together.
Each Milestone is marked with an event for you and your child to attend. This is an opportunity to explore how God is with us in every stage of our life and faith journey. Milestones are celebrated in worship through prayer and blessing. Each child participating will receive a small gift from the congregation and a reminder of God's constant love and care for them.
Visit the Milestones page on our FISH website.
SPY (St Paul's Youth)
Our Friday evening activities are for young people in Years 7 to 12, with the dual purpose of getting together to enjoy fun, engaging activities, as well as building biblical literacy, developing theological understanding of concepts such as grace, and exploring what it means to live as a Christian through group discussion and quiet time.
SPY is currently on Zoom, during term time.
Our Safe House ministry involves secondary school students and beyond. Safe House is a small group ministry designed to nurture faith outside the church building by inviting Christ into the "everydayness" and "everywhereness" of life, and is held in family homes.
Time: 1st Friday of the month at 7.30pm, during term time - currently suspended.
Our Confirmation program typically involves those in Year 9 and upwards. The Confirmation program includes writing a Faith Statement, completing a Creative Project based on the Faith Statement, wrestling with and asking tough questions, reflecting on Worship and sermons, and assessing gifts and talents, and faith personalities.
Each year we hold a Youth Camp for those attending SPY and Confirmation. Camp attendance is strongly encouraged for those wishing to be confirmed.
