The national LCA Convention of General Synod takes place once every 3 years.

Ordination has been a topic of discussion amongst the LCA for some time.  Here we will provide messages from our Pastor, and links to current and past documents and other resources.

Our LCA Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) was formally endorsed by the Lutheran Church of Australia (LCA) General Church Board at its June 2020 meeting and by Reconciliation Australia on 7 August 2020.  Further information may be found on the LCA RAP website.

The LCA provides a comprehensive Safe Church training program.  The Professional Standards Department (PSD) assists congregations and other bodies to promote high standards of ethical behaviour and care for all, especially for children and others in vulnerable circumstance.

Our training is part of the LCA’s commitment to reflect God’s love through the way we treat each other and those who come into contact with our church.  It is also designed to meet our commitments under the National Council of Churches Safe Church Training Agreement.
