The Great Divorce, C.S. Lewis

Having taken a bus ride with many others, he arrives at a strange place where he meets spiritual beings, the so-called "Solid People". There he observes the interactions and behavior between his fellow passengers and the Solid ones.

The Great Divorce is an intriguing, thought provoking and entertaining allegory of our free will, our choice between Heaven or Hell. As always, Lewis masterfully places countless subtle and yet succinct details.
