Othello, William Shakespeare

Iago, for his own reasons, goes about plotting and executing a series of murderous events to ensure the downfall of his commander, Othello, a general in the Venetian army. Upon returning from battle, having just eloped with young Desdemona, Othello is informed by Iago that Desdemona is sleeping with another man, no less his second in command, Cassio. Othello is a tragic tale of jealousy, envy, possession, exploitation and manipulation.
