Seniors' snippetPastor's opening devotion for our November meeting began with the question, "What is heaven like?" The Bible tells us heaven is where God rules and where his will is done. He has promised a new heaven and a new earth Isaiah 65:17. Here there will be no death, sadness, pain ... these words are trustworthy Rev. 21:5. Something to look forward to! We enjoyed Nola Horneman's talk on South Africa — what it was like for her daughter , Roslyn, when she taught there earlier this year, and interesting information gathered by family and friends as they travelled this huge country. This month, our Christmas luncheon will be on December 10 at 12.30pm. Bring only desserts — the rest will be provided. We will sing some old Carols in preparation for Christmas.
