Only 2 more chances in '09

Another year, another CLW (Christian Life Week). I have been blessed and privileged to be involved with CLW for the past 10 years in a leadership role, which I have really enjoyed. The thing I admire most about CLWs that keeps me coming back every year is the fact that the kids that come meet other kids they might not have known before, and by the end of the week they become friends; and they come back the next year as friends, and they become friends with the new kids that might be there that year (phew, what an amazing thing!). Over time, the kids that have been going for a while become more experienced in how CLW works; and when they become too old to be a camper, hopefully they will be asked back to serve as a leader.

CLWs are a lot of fun with heaps of activities and free time. The activities are put together by an activity coordinator and are a lot of fun, and everyone gets very involved.

One of the most influential parts is the small group Bible studies. Each year at CLW there are different themes. This year's theme is Make me a Super-MODEL, which looks at who and what we are influenced by in our lives, and how we then as Christians are to be a model of Jesus to the people around us.

So if you are 13-18 years old and can free up some time in your school holidays, come and have some awesome fun and meet other Christian youth at CLW. There are only two more left in the year:

• September 28 – October 2.
