Getting Ready For 2009 PDF Print E-mail

The Child, Youth & Family Ministry will be implementing new ministry offerings, a new monthly schedule as well as a new look and feel come the 01.FEB.2009. In order to most efficiently and effectively make the needed adjustments, December and January's primary focus will be to get ready.

This means:

The Youth Room, Dungeon and Stairway leading to the Underground will be having an overhaul.

1. The Youth Room, Dungeon and Stairway leading to the Underground will be having an overhaul. (If you can paint, do electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, if you like organizing kitchens, decorating, shopping for deals in stores/on internet or you are an artist, your talents and skills are needed.

There will be some significant office work needed to be done as well.

2. There will be some significant office work needed to be done as well. Thus if you enjoy any of the following data entry, phone calling, picture taking, poster creating, putting together mailings, roster filling, or the creating and organizing of files... know that your talents and skills are welcomed.

Mini-equipping gatherings.

3. Finally, January will be scattered with mini-equipping gatherings for those who will be involved in the ministries. Such needs include: Hosting of small groups in one's home, Bible study leaders, H2H Guides, Year Managers, One on One Mentors, H2H Presenters and Musicians, Vision Quest & Mission Trip Leaders, Inside Story encouragers, Crazy Parents Committee members, to name just a few. Please pray about how you might best serve the young people of this congregation.
