God In The Dock, C.S. Lewis

A collection of 48 essays and 12 letters by Lewis on a variety of topics. These include miracles, prayer, the pains of animals, the role of women in the church, capital punishment and the modern West's approach to celebrating Christmas. Also discussed is the effect of modern thought and science on our approach to religion and the difference in the use of language over time, place and social classes and how this affects our way of thinking.

This is certainly a decent collection and there should be something in there for almost everyone with an even slightly intellectual bent.
