In the absence of Pastor Andrew, Kevin Schilling lead us in devotion. Choosing the parable of the Prodigal Son and the love and forgiveness of the father when the son returned home, Kevin encouraged quite a lot of discussion. During the meeting, Elza Kratky was invited to cut a cake to celebrate her coming 80th birthday. Following lunch, Kevin and Marlene showed pictures on the overhead screen and spoke of the time they spent at the Lutheran Church in Bangkok teaching English to some members. Time well spent, as well as being a new experience which they enjoyed .

At the November meeting, David Williams and his wife will show some of his art work and talk about the object of their travels around Victoria.
