Apparently, the government is considering making it easier for illegal brothels to be busted. After all, illegal prostitution is worse than legal prostitution. Right.

Instead of the need to prove that services were actually provided, it will be enough, if the legal changes are accepted, to prove that services were offered. For example, recorded observations of visitors to the site in question and accounting records maybe submitted as evidence. Well that's funny, one would think that should be enough anyway even if such evidence is considered as circumstantial; but then again, that would actually be sensible.

So, if you are considering a career as a council officer or a private investigator so you could participate in raunchy evidence-collecting sessions at illegal brothels, that may not be needed anymore. What a shame! And you thought you were gonna have some (presumably council-sponsored) fun!
